NDI

[Network Device Interface](https://ndi.video/) is a well established protocol for applications to share video over IP. [Spout to NDI](https://github.com/leadedge/leadedge.github.io/raw/downloads/SPOUTtoNDI_v2029.zip) provides an interface between Spout shared textures and NDI. The latest version 2.029 is updated using an Openframewoks addon [ofxNDI](https://github.com/leadedge/ofxNDI/) with NDI version 6.2.1 and shaders for receiving from NDI as well as sending.

Magic NDI

MagicNDIsender and MagicNDIreceiver are module plugins for [Magic Music Visuals](https://magicmusicvisuals.com/) to send and receive over a network using NDI. The latest version 1.025 has been [updated](https://github.com/leadedge/MagicNDI/releases/tag/v1.025) using high speed compute shaders for increased efficiency.

OMT

[Open Media Transport](https://www.openmediatransport.org/) is a recent open-source network protocol for high performance, low latency video over a local area network. [Spout to OMT](https://github.com/leadedge/leadedge.github.io/raw/downloads/Spout%20to%20OMT_1000.zip) allows any application that supports Spout texture sharing to send to or receive from OMT. Conversion from GPU textures is done using compute shaders for minimum overhead.
