NDI
Network Device Interface is a well established protocol for applications to share video over IP. Spout to NDI provides an interface between Spout shared textures and NDI. Magic NDI
MagicNDIsender and MagicNDIreceiver are module plugins for Magic Music Visuals to send and receive over a network using NDI. The latest version 1.025 has been updated using high speed compute shaders for increased efficiency.
OMT
Open Media Transport is a recent open-source network protocol for high performance, low latency video over a local area network. Spout to OMT allows any application that supports Spout texture sharing to send to or receive from OMT. Conversion from GPU textures is done using compute shaders for minimum overhead.
