A new update 2.007c has been released.
The main change is an option in “SpoutSettings” to lock all Spout applications to use CPU memory for sharing textures instead of through the GPU so that you can investigate graphics driver problems, such as recently reported for AMD graphics or external GPU.
The demo Sender and Receiver programs can be used for testing. On-screen status now shows whether CPU or GPU sharing is being used.
This is very similar to the 2.006 “CPU” option and affects all applications. Many existing programs don’t support this method but with this option you have the opportunity to try.
The GitHub release zip file and all the files in it have been registered with CodeNotary so you can be confident that what you download is exactly what was uploaded.
