we are a small indie team developing a desktop app built with Electron. We are investigating how to export the WebGL canvas via Spout and Syphon ( win / mac ) to share with other apps (e.g. OBS). I don’t know much about Electron so I can’t offer to help directly, but my first thought is that you would need some interface with C++ and D3D11 to use Spout library functions.
Possibly SpoutDX could be the best to use. There is also a low-level DirectX example that uses the minimum required for Spout texture sharing, but you have to manage shared texture creation and access.
There is an interesting project with CEF that could be a useful reference.
Perhaps this information will help somebody with the experience and interest that you need.
