When I record the output from (VJ software) Resolume to OBS Studio using “Spout 2 capture” as a source, only video but no audio is recorded. Does spout not route audio?

Spout only shares graphics by way of textures. There is no audio. I am not sure whether Resolume supports audio with NDI output, but you could try that into OBS.
