Hello, I’d appreciate advice as I feel like I’ve tried everything. Seemingly overnight Spout2 stopped being transparent.
So far I’ve tried: deleting and reinstalling it, checking and unchecking “Transparent” background in VTS, changing it from “Opaque” to “Default” in OBS, recreating the source in OBS, resetting all applications and my PC, changing all the background options in VTS.
Shoost doesn’t output anything when the input is set to Spout2
Presumably you have downloaded the latest release, run “SpoutSettings” and clicked “Reset” and “OK”.
I can only use OBS to try to reproduce your problem. When you say “stopped being transparent”, what Spout source are you receiving in OBS?
Thank you for reply, it seems to have been fixed somehow by randomly fiddling with different apps’ settings. But for future reference how do I run Spout Settings?
In OBS I was receiving my source on a white background
Just download the release from the link above, unzip it somewhere convenient and you will see “SpoutSettings.exe”. When you run it and after you click OK, it saves all the settings to the registry.
It has a direct link to Windows Graphics Performance Preference. If you have a laptop with integrated graphics, it’s important that all your Spout enabled programs are all set to run with “High Performance”.
